The Hangout
Launching September — enquire now
Most youth provision is either purely recreational, or only engages once a young person is already in crisis. The Hangout sits earlier — using the Noticing Framework (Notice, Name, Navigate, Nurture) to build emotional regulation and wellbeing before things escalate, while delivering ASDAN-accredited short courses that give young people something tangible to show for their time.
Sign-up is required (not a drop-in service), with a small weekly donation fee. Sessions include ChillConnect, a structured space to build peer connection and social confidence; music creation; and gaming and social activity used as an engagement tool. A hygiene bank supports young people in need, and ACW is a registered referrer for the BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme, helping access essential items for families in crisis.
